An estimated 30,000 people took part in protests on six continents, according to the organizers. Members of the First Church's Community for Earth travelled to Anacortes, WA, and were among those who camped off for three days along BNSF rail lines serving Shell and Tesoro oil refineries. Authorities said they arrested 52 of the protesters for trespassing, and charged one with resisting arrest. Click here to read more. Among those taking part were CFE members the Rev.
